Have only just used it on the casting field and it's a sound enough reel ,light powerful ,line lay is perfect on the shallow aluminium spool (haven't put line on the spare deep carbon/plastic spool and don't think i will bother with it) ,done all I asked of it well easily retrieved 5 ounces over grass ,line leaves the spool easily and line lay is perfect nice reel for £90 happy enough just a pity it doesn't come with a spare aluminium spool. Wasn't the reel in wanted that was out of stock.
